My mother has Hepatitis C, she has already finished treatment for the Hepatitis and recently everything has been fine. On her last tests nothing even showed up. A few days ago she found out she was a candidate for Gastric Bypass surgery. While she is not heavily overweight, she does meet the guidelines and would like to have it done. Her heart doctor told her she needed to find out if her having Hepatitis C would interfere with that or cause them to not allow her to receive the surgery before he filled out all the paper work. So I'm trying to find out for her. Thanks!
