I had gastric bypass 3 weeks ago but i have horrible acid in my stomach. It's uncomfortable and it doesn't let me sleep and causes constant discomfort. My Dr finally prescribed Nexium but at $200 a bottle i cannot afford it. Is Prilosec otc as effective?? should i crush it even though the bottle says not to?
