Hello. My husband and I are considering going to Mexico (Baja) to have the LapBand system applied. He is morbidly obese, and only 26 years old. BMI of 60+ and desperately in need. Our insurance doesn't cover any gastric bypass surgery and our funds are limited. I was wondering if anyone has gone and had this done and if it worked, if you felt safe, if you received quality care? Etc. If not, I'd like to hear that too. THANKS!
