I had gastric bypass surgery in 2001 (6 years ago) and it was a huge success. But lately when I eat (still small portions), I get hungry about and hour or two later. I know the stomach stretches after several years after the surgery, but this is starting to annoy me, and I've gained weight.
Should I go back to the surgeon who performed it, or tell my personal doctor?
This "hungry" condition just started within the past 6 months. I'm worried that the band the doctor added at the top of my stomach might have broken. Any other gastric bypass patients (having it done 6 years ago) experience anything like this?
